Welcome
The WELCOME project addressed the need for effective training of front desk officers by developing an innovative digital platform offering realistic 3D simulation scenarios, based on a service design mapping methodology. These high-fidelity simulations ensured strong user engagement, interactivity, and constructive feedback.
Omega Technology contributed to the design and development of the platform, leveraging its expertise in 3D application development. Trainees engage in role-play scenarios at a hotel reception, and upon completion, receive visual feedback through animated examples of proper behaviour, helping them identify and learn from their mistakes. Scenarios were selected through focus groups in each participating country, tailored to national qualifications.
The project has been successfully completed, delivering a fast and cost-efficient solution for training hospitality professionals.
